Hello everyone and welcome to our blog. We are a family who loves experiencing new things & traveling as often as possible. We are teachers by day and travel b(v)loggers on holidays. We currently reside in Houston, TX but are always on the move.
Combined, we have been to 17 countries, and soon 18 with Japan in 2021. We love traveling and have backpacked Europe 3 times, been on 5 cruises, done 1 totally solo travel experience, 1 big group trip to Spain (14 people), one honeymoon vacation and plenty of travel consulting to friends and family. Travel is our passion and we are here to share our experiences with you.
Being a Geography teacher goes hand in hand with my passion for traveling. I get to teach what I love and share my experiences with my students. Not only that, but once a year, I get to take a group of students with me and show them the world and see first hand what they learned in the classroom.
I experience new things and travel with my son because I want to educate him and keep both his mind and his heart open to new experiences.
Being a dance teacher has allowed me to meet some amazing students who I hope I have inspired to travel and gain new experiences. In my dance class, I not only teach different dance techniques and styles, but I also teach dances from around the world. I combine my passion for travel with dance.
I want to instill my travel passion to my children because traveling has made me a better person both at heart and at mind. I want my son to want to travel and see the world too, therefor continuing to educate himself and work hard to be able to travel.
Spain Group Travel
My husband and I took a group of 14 people to Spain in 2019. We traveled to Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba, Madrid and Barcelona. In the group there were some of our students and parents, and from the feedback we got from everyone, they loved it!

Combined we have done 6 cruise trips so we know the ins and outs of a cruise. We know when to go for the best prices, when not to go, what to take, what not to take, how to explore and most importantly, how to have the time of your life at a cruise!
I (Vicente) did a solo trip to Rome, Florence and Cinque Terre in 2014. I will not lie to you and tell you I was scared to do a completely solo trip, but it helped me realize that I should have done that trip a long time ago. Doing a solo trip helps you find yourself, puts you in uncomfortable situations which only makes you get out of your comfort zone. It helps you appreciate things we have back home and things we should do different.
